“…wait.”
Stacy watches the group.
Two men.
Same place.
Same moment.
But not the same.
One speaks.
Not louder.
Not stronger.
Just certain.
The others shift.
Turning toward him.
The second man tries to speak.
No one reacts.
“…you see that?” Stacy says.
Caelwyn nods.
“They’re aligning.”
The first man continues.
The circle tightens.
The second man is still there.
But not inside it anymore.
“…that’s fast,” Stacy says.
“Too fast.”
The second man tries again.
“I was saying—”
Nothing.
A glance.
Dismissed.
Stacy steps closer.
“They heard him.”
“No.”
Caelwyn’s voice is quiet.
“They rejected him.”
The first man gestures.
Small.
Controlled.
The group follows.
Now fully.
Locked in.
The second man shifts.
Straightens.
Raises his voice.
Trying to match.
Too late.
A few people glance at him—
then back.
Faster now.
“…he’s losing them,” Stacy says.
“Yeah.”
The first man doesn’t break rhythm.
Keeps going.
Same tone.
Same flow.
The group responds.
Perfect.
The second man stops.
Looks around.
Still there.
But no longer part of it.
“…that wasn’t competition,” Stacy says.
“No.”
“That was replacement.”
Caelwyn watches the pattern settle.
“They needed one position.”
A beat.
“He filled it.”
Stacy swallows.
“…and the other?”
Caelwyn doesn’t look away.
“Stopped being necessary.”
The room continues.
Nothing breaks.
Nothing forces it.
It just… decides.

You become it because others act as if you are—

as if someone else is.
🜍 One theme. One month. One descent.
🜍 Trickster. Fool. Fracture.
If you remember what this felt like —
you already know what you’re missing.
Step back into it.
Or keep missing it.
