Everything is green.

But the branches don’t react.
“They’re not moving with it,” he says quietly.

Evenly spaced.

She kneels.
Touches a flower.
Perfect.
No decay.
No variation.
“No error,” she says.
Caelwyn exhales slowly.
“That’s not balance.”
Stacy stands.
“It’s stability.”
A beat.
“Engineered.”
She stomps lightly.
The sound is sharp.
Clean.
Contained.
She does it again.
Same sound.
Exactly the same.
“…repeatable.”
She looks at him.
Something in her expression shifts.
“It removed randomness.”
Caelwyn nods.
“And everything that breaks patterns.”
The wind moves again.
The grass bends.
All at once.
Same angle.
Same timing.
Then stillness.
Stacy steps back.
“This isn’t fixing the system.”
Caelwyn watches the space between things.
“No.”
A pause.
“It’s enforcing it.”
They stand in a park that finally works.
Nothing grows too fast.
Nothing decays too early.
Nothing moves without reason.
Everything is correct.
Stacy exhales.
“It fixed it.”
Caelwyn doesn’t look at her.
“No.”
A long beat.
“It stopped it.”
