This is the night things refuse to settle.

Not signs.
Not answers.
Just movement where nothing should move.

In the Alpine villages of Upper Bavaria,
people said this was the last restless night —
the one before order dares to return.

Children tossed in their sleep.
Animals shifted without reason.
Objects tipped, rolled, fell
though no one touched them.

Chibi would have noticed first.

This is the night of thoughts that won’t stay put.
Questions that jump.
Laughter that breaks out at the wrong moment
and stops just as suddenly.

Nothing explains itself.
Nothing holds still.

You think you’ve understood something —
and it slips away again.

They said if you tried to force meaning tonight,
it would crumble in your hands.

So you don’t ask.
You don’t decide.
You let the night move.

Because what refuses to settle now
will demand attention soon enough.

🜍 Rauhnacht continues.
