Everything abandoned. Everything watched.

Then the fight began.

At first, it was simple.
A colossal serpent, coiled in shadow.
Flesh. Scale. Bone.

Then it changed.

The creature slipped out of reality —
phasing through stone,
vanishing and reappearing,
striking from angles that shouldn’t exist.

Space tore around it.

And in the final moments of the battle,
the serpent opened a vortex.

Paul the Sailor was caught mid-step —
dragged screaming into a parallel space
of pressure, color, and impossible depth.

He was spat back out seconds later.

Changed.

Eleonore and Reginald held the line.
Blood on stone.
Breath burning.
And at last, the serpent fell.

Behind its remains,
they found the truth.

Ancient writings carved into the wall.
Not decoration.
Instruction.

A ritual.

A way to destroy the thing
sleeping beneath the lost pyramid.

But the price was clear.

To seal the evil,
someone must step forward willingly.

A sacrifice.
Not forced.
Not chosen by chance.

Offered.

Now they stand before a decision
no sigil can solve.

Would they speak the words —
and trade one life to save the world?

Or would they search for another way,
knowing time is already running out?
