❓ If light could be quantified… would you trust the result?

December 15th is not loud.
It does not ring bells or light candles on its own.
It sits quietly between darkness and promise.

Stacy stands still longer than usual today.

Predictable.

Light behaves as expected.

Preparing.

Stacy lowers her scanner.

“Light doesn’t arrive suddenly,” she says.
“It accumulates. Slowly. Relentlessly.
And people mistake that for safety.”

She looks toward the horizon, where sky and sea refuse to decide who owns the color.

“Every system that ever failed,” she adds,
“failed because someone assumed the light meant the danger was gone.”

December 15th is not hope.

It is calibration.
