Cases close. Consequences do not.

Each investigation lasts roughly one to three sessions. Arresting a gang leader creates a power vacuum. Saving an informant may give you an ally for months—or condemn an entire district. A brutal raid can restore order tonight and ignite an uprising later. There are no resets between cases.

Behind ordinary murders, smuggling and political crimes lies a trail of false identities, vanished prisoners, illegal experiments and corrupted records stretching between Imperial worlds. Some cases are entirely human. Others lead toward mutant horrors, forbidden science and something that may already be breeding beneath the city.
