Sean:
She fell.

She almost fell.
Sean:
That’s not better.

It’s cleaner.
(A pause.)
Sean:
The dog ran.
Eljara:
Now it’s calm.
Sean:
No.
Now it’s wrong.
(Silence.)
Eljara:
You feel it too?
Sean:
Yeah.
Eljara:
It’s not outside.
Sean:
Where?
(She taps her head.)
Eljara:
Here.
(A beat.)

So what is this?
(She looks at the perfect street.)
