After the Date Was Set Sean & Eljara — Week 4 (Delta Green)

Eljara:
They already picked a date.

Sean:
Of course they did.

Eljara:
End of investigation.
Situation resolved.
Just like that.

Sean:
Dates do that.
Once they’re official, people stop asking questions.

Eljara:
It feels like something closed.

Sean:
It did.
Not the case.
The version.

Eljara:
Caelwyn thinks leaving contradictions might help.

Sean:
It will.
Slowing something down isn’t stopping it—
it just changes how it waits.

Eljara:
So the Mythos didn’t need to act.

Sean:
No.
Everyone prepared the moment for it.

Eljara:
That’s what scares me.
Not that they lied.

Sean:
That they’ll remember tonight as “handled.”

Eljara:
And someday feel it was wrong, without knowing why.

Sean:
That’s how time wins.

(They walk on. The date stays.)
